SESSION NOTES: November 2016

Future

November was the month of Freebandz.

Epic Records artist Future and pretty much the whole Freebandz gang had the studio lit for 17 days with Studio A, Studio B, and Studio C full of artists and producers including Metro Boomin, Southside, Atlantic artists Young Thug and Gucci Mane, Casino, Mexico Rann, and Republic producer Detail. Engineer Ejay Washington tracked several songs in Studio A and Studio C.

When Freebandz wasn’t in the studio, producer Blac Elvis kept Studio B busy as all 4 members of legendary Atlanta R&B group 112 reunited to start recording new music. Blac Elvis also started filming for his next installment of ProJams.

In the meantime Studio A and C saw plenty of other action including Jean-Michael and WLPWR in Studio A for 2 days, Hi Life Records artist Trigga in Studio C for 1 day, Baltimore rapper Damond Blue booked Studio A for 3 days with Ejay engineering, internet star Mighty Duck in Studio A for 1 day and engineer Nico Solis helping CKP close out our month with 1 last session in Studio A.

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum.

SESSION NOTES: October 2016

21Savage

Happy Halloween everybody!

Luckily for us our clients weren’t too scared to stay away! R&B Emcee Mecca Dawn kicked us off this month with a video shoot in Studio A to promote her upcoming project VERSUS.

RCA artist 21 Savage came back for 1 day in Studio A with Think It’s A Game artist YFN Lucci occupying the popular room the next day.

Engineer Nico Solis and CKP were back in full force this month with 10 sessions between our Studio A and Studio C. Alley Mob Bosses recording artist Ega worked with us for 4 days this month in Studio C while 11th Street signee Jean Michael and SupaHotBeats founder and producer WLPWR had 6 sessions in Studio A.

Blac Elvis continued to occupy Studio B for another 20 days and he got busy! Internet star Kandi Reign stopped by and worked on her newest song, “Wait For It”, which became her latest challenge to go viral. Zone 4 artist Keri Hilson stopped by for a few days with Airtel TRACE Music Star competition winner and Zambia’s newest artist Tiwa Phiri to record her first studio release. Industry veteran Gotti brought his new artist Luke Whitney through and put in a week’s worth of work with the producer. Kenyan-British sister duo The Katanas also stopped by the busy room.

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum. Black Sky Recordings artist Vital Deshawn’s LP, The Vital Album, was mixed in Studio F as well.

Studio A also hosted DJ Stickuhbush for 2 days and MadeinTYO for 1 day. G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recording artist Cyhi the Prynce held a session 1 night in Studio C while Loyal Money Music Group sent us off with the last 2 sessions to the month.

We’re back and we hope you had a safe and fun Labor Day Weekend!

September came in the same way August went out with Atlanta producer Cassius Jay booking Studio C and SupaHotBeats founder and producer WLPWR booking Studio A to work with 11th Street Music signee Jean-Michael. WLPWR and Jean-Michael would go on to book 3 more sessions in Studio A this month.

G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recording artist Cyhi the Prynce stopped by Studio B while Warner Chappell producer Rasool Diaz booked out 2 days in Studio C working with Bases Loaded rapper Yakki Divioshi.

Blac Elvis held it down in Studio B for 20 more days working with his Mars on Sunday artists and Snoop Dogg and Jazze Pha’s new artist, October the King. 11th Street Music signee Miles Jenson also stopped by to add to his catalogue of songs by adding some with Blac Elvis’ production.

Actor and 300 Entertainment artist Shameik Moore visited Studio C for 4 sessions this month with engineers Firas Quick and Ejay Washington working with him.

Loyal Money Music Group booked a session in Studio A and Studio C for 2 sessions total this month while CKP and engineer Nico Solis booked 5 sessions in Studio A.

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum. Paradox Music Group producer CC Madcap came back this month to finalize work on the EP Paradox, which was released on September 16th. Check it out! Black Sky Recordings artist Vital Deshawn stopped by Studio F to start the mixing of his debut album The Vital Album.

Warner Bros. Record artist MadeinTYO stopped by Studio A for a session and worked with engineer Dan Cahill.

Sko booked Studio C once again for various up and coming artists to host meetings and listening sessions with RocNations’s Senior Vice President Lenny S., who flew in from New York to be present.

Cash Money artist Jacquees booked Studio A for a session while Alley Mob Bosses artist Ega booked Studio C the last 2 days of the month.

SESSION NOTES: August 2016

Travis Scott

August was another great month for us here at 11th Street!

G.O.O.D Music/Epic Records recording artist Travis Scott booked out Studio A for 5 days this month finishing up his album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, completing records Outside, SDP Interlude, and First Take with engineer Firas Quick. Epic Records also booked Studio B and Studio C for producers such as WondaGurl and OVO Sound producer Boi-1da to work on the project. Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight would go on to debut at #1 on the Billboard Music Charts this month!

Studio B is still blazing with Blac Elvis occupying the room for another 20 days while working with his Mars on Sunday Latino artists La Gente de Clan. Hailing from the Domincan Republic, the duo is working on their debut album to be released soon!

We also saw various other clients return this month including Cymatics spending 2 days in Studio A. Polo Grounds artist Diamond of Crime Mob spent 3 days in Studio C, Kemosabe/RCA Records duo R. City was back in A for a day and internet sensation Mighty Duck also spent a day in Studio A.

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum. Paradox Music Group producer CC Madcap also came through this month recording, mixing, and mastering music for the EP Paradox. Mixing of Black Sky Recordings artist Vital Deshawn’s debut album The Vital Album also continued this month.

We closed August out nicely with Atlanta producer Cassius Jay booking out Studio C and SupaHotBeats founder and producer WLPWR booking out Studio A to work with 11th Street Music signee Jean Michael.

Shirazee

Summer is in full swing and Atlanta is feeling the heat! Happy 4th of July!

Epic Records artist Future and the Freebandz Gang returned at the very start of the month and stayed with us 4 days in Studio A, Studio B, and Studio C. It was a FBG takeover!

Island Records artist Shirazee hung out with in Studio A for 14 days working on new music with engineer Ejay Washington.

Street Money Worldwide artist Quicktrip booked out Studio C for 6 days this month while Columbia Records rapper Dej Loaf booked a session in Studio A for a day.

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum. Paradox Music Group producer CC Madcap also came through this month recording, mixing, and mastering music for the EP Paradox. Black Sky Recordings artist Vital Deshawn stopped by Studio F to start the mixing of his debut album The Vital Album.

Producer Blac Elvis was back for 20 more days in Studio B and put in major work with Capitol Records artist Silento and producer Jazze Pha. Sean Paul of Atlanta group Youngbloodz also dropped in this month and worked with Blac Elvis on some EDM tracks.

IMS artist Ty Hibbard held it down in Studio C for 3 days with guests such as Street Money Quint while RCA artist 21Savage got to work in Studio B with engineer Shaun Quin. Kemosabe/RCA Records artists R. City returned for 1 day to Studio A as well.

Freebandz artist Casino booked out Studio C for some solo sessions for 2 days this month and sound design gurus Cymatics booked out Studio A for 2 daytime sessions.

Social Media sensation Mighty Duck worked on new music in Studio A for a day while new 11th Street Music artist Miles Jenson started working on new music in Studio C. Miles and his drummer put some cool drums on a new track using Studio A and our Live Room.

Hi Life Records artist Trigga took us out for the month with a session in Studio C.

Flux Pavilion

Things are heating up at 11th Street!

Circus/Atlantic Records EDM DJ Flux Pavilion stopped by Studio A for 2 days while over from the UK on his U.S. tour.

Moroccan artist Elam Jay came back and put in work! Here with us for 8 days, Elam collaborated with writers and producers in Studio C, with Firas Quick engineering.

DJ Stickuhbush spent a day with us in Studio A one weekend and the next weekend actor and 300 Entertainment artist Shameik Moore recorded in Studio A with engineer Ejay Washington.

Studio B was booked out for another 20 days by producer Blac Elvis and we saw Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast member Lil Scrappy come through and jump on one of Elvis’ EDM tracks. RCA Records artist and The Voice contestant Avery Wilson also dropped by and worked on some new music for his album.

Think It’s A Game artist Rich Homie Quan was back in Studio A with engineer Shaun Quin for a day while Street Money Worldwide artist Quicktrip continued to work in Studio C, spending 6 days with us this month!

Studio F continued to be occupied by F&F Entertainment singer/songwriters Fallon and Felisha King of Cherish with sessions held by Manager/A&R Mathias Sorum. Paradox Music Group producer CC Madcap also came through this month recording, mixing and mastering music for the EP Paradox.

Hi Life Records artist Trigga worked in Studio C as well while Jazze Pha held 2 days of sessions with various artists in Studio A.

Epic Records artist Future brought Freebandz back to the building to occupy Studio A and Studio C for 3 days. Kemosabe/RCA Records artists R. City worked in Studio A for a day while G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recording artist Cyhi the Prynce helped us close out the month in Studio C.
